Peer review track

Papers for the symposium’s peer review track should be submitted directly to the IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering Special Issue through the Journal’s website by 15th July 2025.

  • Cover letter: when submitting manuscripts, authors should indicate the contribution is intended for the AUV 2026 Special Issue.

  • Paper format: Special Issue papers must be 10 pages or less, in two-column, single line spacing format, and written using the conference template. Authors should not follow general author instructions on the Journal website.

  • Symposium presentation: Papers that are accepted through this peer-review track must be presented at the symposium

Papers will be handled by the special issue editors on receipt. Those accepted will be made available online as early as possible. If a paper submitted to the peer review track is found to be unsuitable for the journal, it may be transferred to the standard track, at the discretion of the editorial board, conference technical committee, and the agreement of the authors.
